In this ongoing class, young learners are invited to come sing and dance with me each week. Costumes, siblings, and stuffed animals are all welcome, and everyone will get a turn to pick a song!
Class experience
In this class, young learners are invited to attend my marveouls, musical, costume party. Everyone is welcome to come in costume or in normal clothing, to bring a sibling, friend, or stuffed animal for a dance partner, and to sing along as loud or as quiet as they want. I have been an online ESL teacher since 2019, so, though this class will be taught in English, ESL students are welcome also. Many of the songs in this class will be simple or even ESL-based, and any more complicated songs...
Students will be invited to get up and get moving as we spend some time dancing and singing together. They will also be encouraged to keep healthy habits when we take a 5-minute break to drink some water, have a snack if we like, and play a fun game. They will also have the chance to exercise their imaginations and social skills as they dress up and talk about their costumes.
I love dancing and think it's a great way to help kids learn while having fun and promoting good, healthy, life habits in a way they both understand and enjoy. I've been working with children as young as 3 years old since 2008 and making them smile and laugh makes my heart sing. I have also been working as an ESL teacher for children aged 2-15 since 2019 and am the proud holder of a 120-hour TESOL certificate.

I will be playing music for us to dance to in this class through a screenshare of my music player. The playlist will change each week, the music being a mix of nursery rhymes, sing-along games, and kid-friendly pop and dance songs. An updated list of songs used each week can be found in the class description. Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet Outschool's safety and privacy policies. Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.). Thank you!
