Miss Gina’s Legomation Science! Friday Free Builds!!

In this ongoing club class, learners will meet once a week to free build some Science themed LEGO creations! Each week the learners will learn some basic scientific engineering and building concepts with myself along with mascots Mollie and Michael Molecule. They then will be given a theme relating to engineering. They will then be able to be creative and free build their own design!
Breakdown:
Live video meetings.
1 x per week.
2-8 learners per class .
50 minutes in- class hours per week.
Skills learned- problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, fine motor skills, open-ended building, being social in a group with others.
Class structure:
10 minutes- talk about basic engineering scientific concepts and Science theme of the day.
30 minutes- free build.
10 minutes- share creations.
We will spend the first 10 minutes learning some simple Science concepts and look at the theme of the day. Learners will use their creativity and imagination to free build along that theme. During the 30 minute building portion, I will observe progress, make comments,  and suggest ideas. Each child will get 1-1 attention. At the end of the class learners who desire can share and talk about their unique creations!
