It's story time with Miss Forester as I read "Audrey's Tree House" by Jenny Hughes and Jonathan Bentley. Audrey is bigger than she was yesterday. Now she needs a bigger house. So she tells her Dad to build her a house of her very own.....at the top of the tree! It is a wonderful house. It has a bathtub for snorkeling, a place to drink tea, and somewhere to hide the dirty cups. The house is perfect in every way. Except for one thing.... After I read this book, I will guide your child how to draw a tree house in a tree.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a certified teacher who has taught two years of 4th grade, two years of 3rd grade and I've been a preschool teacher for 14 years. Two of my most favorite parts of being a preschool teacher have been storytime and guided drawing lessons with my three and four year olds. I enjoy bringing my students into each story by asking questions, using different voices and sound effects. I want to show my students how fun and exciting reading can be. At preschool ages of 3 to 6 years old, their creativity is so sweet and every picture they draw will not look exactly like mine, but drawing is such a stepping stone to other things. Through guided drawing, students will learn colors, following directions, creativity, and appreciation of art through crayons. I am a kid at heart who loves to laugh and collect vintage Fisher Price sets, toys and Fisher Price Little People.
