Miss Dani's Marvelous Scientists: Superhero Edition!
In this ongoing class, we will have fun discussing one of our favourite superheroes, how they got their powers, and conduct a super cool experiment to explore these super powers in real life- like a virtual "Magic School Bus"!

Description
Class Experience
During the class, each student will briefly talk about their favourite superhero and why it is their favourite. We will then discuss our superhero of the week, what makes them so special, and how they got their super powers. We will then do a fun science experiment based on Canadian science curriculum grades 1-4, such as electricity, thermal energy, and types of matter. Students will be engaged and asked what their hypothesis for the experiment is. For more challenging subject matter, slides...
Students will improve their understanding of and become more excited about science and the world around us!
For experiments that are safe for students to complete on their own, a supply list will be provided a week before class, should the student want to conduct the experiment themselves. Most materials will be commonly found around the home.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
