I encourage you to give this class a try. Though it seems odd to have a curriculum shortened and with little academic material, it is precisely these traditional, subconscious expectations that we are intentionally un-doing. It's a simple class that will garner great results. -------------- The aim of this class is to prep the mind and body for the rest of the day. Often times, we do not realize until we are well into adulthood, deep into the lifelong unwanted habits, that certain thoughts and behaviors are difficult to unlearn. Each day, class will look like this: - individual check-in - individual goal-setting/ group share - end class with a 5-minute meditation
Learning Goals
Students
- will set daily intentions and goals for the day (encourages focus)
- will form healthier habits (improves mindfulness)
- will learn to be more present (reduces stress, anxiety and worry)
- will learn to take the time each morning for themselves (promotes self-care)

Supply List
Parents, please make sure there is a quiet place for your child to take this class. Headphones are encouraged to reduce outside noise for the class. Please have students ready with a journal and pen.
