I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and love to help kids acquire new language and communication skills. In graduate school, I was a teaching assistant for several interpersonal communication classes that involved grading and giving feedback on student speeches. I have continued my involvement in public speaking mentoring as a 4-H advisor. I always hope learners will leave my class as more confident communicators.
There is no formal homework for this class, but it is my hope that your learner will show you the skills they have practiced in class each week.
