In this 4 week flex class, we will talk about our favorite fall things, play some fun games, and make four different seasonal crafts. Whether you love pumpkins or apples, fall leaves or scarecrows, this class is for you.

Class Experience
Fall is my favorite time of year, and I can't wait to share that excitement with your learner as we have discussions, play games, and make crafts that are all about the season. In this class, we will have a different fall theme each week. All activities for the week will be posted Monday by 10 am Eastern Time. Students will make 4 fall crafts. Students will play 4 seasonal games. Students will discuss apples, scarecrows, pumpkins, and fall leaves. Students will have fun.
I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and love to help kids acquire new language and communication skills. I have also been a 4-H advisor for the past 10 years because I love watching kids learn new things and gain confidence. One of my favorite things to do in my free time is craft, especially seasonal decorations or gifts.
Learners will be encouraged to complete the weekly crafts and games. Learners are not required to post in the classroom, but the teacher will respond to all classroom posts within 24-48 hours. Learners may print or play games on a device - a color and black and white version will be provided for all games.
Your learner will need the following supplies for each project: Paper Plate Apples 2 paper plates red and lime green paint paint brush, cup, apron, and table covering brown and green paper 2 google eyes black marker scissors glue stapler Craft Stick Scarecrow 12 craft sticks Orange paint Paint brush, cup, apron, and table covering Black Sharpie Orange and tan paper Silk or paper flower 2 large google eyes Glue Scissors Egg Carton Pumpkin Wreath Cardboard egg carton Paper plate Green and orange paint Paint brushes, paint cup, paint apron, and table covering Green pipe cleaner Hot glue gun or regular school/craft glue Scissors Leaf Print Hedgehogs Background paper (any light color will work) Brown paper 1 google eye Black pompom for nose Black Marker Small leaves (fake or real) Fall leaf colored paints Paint brush, cup, apron, and table covering Hand wipes (it is a bit messy) Scissors Glue There will also be black and white versions of all games available to print, but printing will not be necessary as games can also be played on devices.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Learners need to be supervised with using sharp or messy craft supplies like paints, makers, and scissors. Discussions will be monitored closely and kept age and class content appropriate.
