In this 6 week FLEX class, you will learn about letter L or L blend sounds while you play games and make crafts. You will receive 2 games to play and make 2 craft projects to go with the L or L blend sounds each week.

Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will learn the letter L and L blend sounds. Learners will learn words that start with the letter L and L blend sounds. Learners will make and share beautiful art. Learners will have fun!
I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and love to help kids acquire new language and communication skills. I have always loved to help kids create and share. I also love reading and I am very excited to pass the love of reading on to my learners.
Each week's crafts, games, and quizzes will be expected to be completed by learners by Sunday of the following week in order to keep up with the class.
1 file available upon enrollmentGames will be shared on Tuesdays and Thursdays - I will share a Google Slide and also a black and white handout so that you can play the way that is most convenient for you - either by printing or on a device. You will need the following supplies for our Monday and Wednesday projects: Paper: red (3 projects); black (2 projects); white (3 projects); purple, green, orange (4 projects); blue (2 projects); yellow (3 projects); grey, brown Paint: blue, green, white, brown, black, tan Pipe Cleaners - 2 pink, 1 blue 1 cardboard tube 2 paper plates 1 egg carton cup 2 craft sticks 3 medium blue pompoms 2 large black pompoms 20 medium-large google eyes 6 small google eyes 3 blue feathers 2 pink feathers 3-4 colors tissue paper (for lion mane) string/yarn 3 pieces bow tie pasta Marble or marble-sized stone 2 plastic spoons Rubber band Glass jar (big enough to fit an LED tealight) LED tealight Disposable metal pan Straw Scissors Paint brush, cup, apron, and table covering Plastic fork Hand wipes Stapler Glue Tape Masking tape Black sharpie Markers Hole punch Nail Optional Supplies: Glue dots or hot glue gun

No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Learners will need adult supervision when working with messy art materials, glue, and scissors.
