In this ongoing class, we will use common craft supplies to make a new animal-themed craft each week and learn a new phonics sound. Our class will begin with a greeting and an introduction to the phonics sound and animal for the week. Learners will enjoy working on their crafts, talking about the animal of the week, and then sharing their creations. We will talk about lots of vocabulary words with the phonics sound of the week while we work. If there is time at the end of class, or if we need to wait for something to dry in between steps, we will play a game that goes with the animal of the week.
