Miss Autumn's Confident Speakers - Beginner Vocabulary Games Club (ESL Friendly)
In this ongoing class, we will play 1-2 games each week in a social setting to work on learning and using new English vocabulary. Learners will be encouraged to speak clearly and use a variety of language skills as we explore new topics.

Class Experience
Learners will learn new English vocabulary words related to the theme each week. Learners will practice many language skills such as taking turns, making sentences, answering questions, and asking for more information. Learners will use good enunciation and pronunciation of words. Learners will learn about game mechanics and what makes a good game. Learners will have fun!
I have been a speech-language pathologist for over 20 years and love to help kids acquire new language and communication skills. I have always loved to help kids play with sounds and always hope they will leave my class as better communicators.
There will be a worksheet with vocabulary words each week. Learners will be encouraged to practice the words to promote carryover of the terms.
No materials will be needed for class. A follow-up activity sheet will be sent through the classroom each week. This activity sheet will be black and white to minimize the ink needed to print, but it can also be completed on a device in case a printer is not available.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
