I am Miss Ally and I can’t wait to paint with you! I am so passionate about Art and Crafting. I have experience working with children and youth of all ages. In my art classes I will show you techniques such as shadowing, blending and how to create dimension in your paintings. I will also work with artists on creating new colors with mixing the colors. In this class we will begin with introductions, a supply check list and get right into sketching and using acrylic or watercolor paints to capture the subject. You need some prior experience for this class I will be guiding you 100 % of the way. Along our adventure creating this adorable drawing students will be introduced to perspective details that will be utilized well in all classes in the future. In my classes self confidence is built and the artists will feel very comfortable in the relaxed fun atmosphere I create! I look forward to meeting each new artist and watch their skills develop. These include but are not limited to: sketching with shapes creating dimension fun facts about painting mixing colors blending colors shadowing with paint cleaning your brush while painting My teaching style is very laid back and I enjoy open discussion time. Supply List
Canvas, canvas board or paper no larger then 11x16 (any recycled material such as card board, wood) pencils big, medium and small paint brush acrylic paints, watercolor paints blue orange yellow brown white black any additional colors of your choice have fun and be creative! Brush sizes Large, medium, small Cup of water to wash brushes as we paint. Paint cloth, rag or paper towels to dry paint brushes A blow dryer in case you use to much paint it dries painting quickly
