Teacher expertise and credentials
My name is Amanda Vallejos and I am a professional classical musician.
I teach high-energy group and private classes for learners that focus on piano and singing skills, sight-reading, composition, music history, technique, performance opportunities, and theory.
I use classical piano and vocal technique, but that doesn't mean that my classes are boring! I believe that children learn best when they are having fun. I've dedicated the last twenty years of my life to helping children build their passion for classical music.
Composition is a unique part of my studio. I've helped students around the world complete original compositions in their style of choice using the techniques perfected by the most famous composers of the last four centuries.
I hold a Bachelor of Music History from Western University and have twenty years of teaching experience. I run a large studio just north of Toronto and still perform regularly as a classical soloist.
