Experience an exploration of the Middle School NGSS Earth and Space Science Standards! Through the lens of real-world problems and situations, students will dive into captivating problem-based learning scenarios, igniting their curiosity and driving inquiry throughout this self-paced course. Over the span of four weeks, participants will learn about an array of topics, including the hydrosphere, the water cycle, water's role in shaping the Earth, and water pollution! At the end of this course, a thorough Review & Performance Assessment/Project will allow students to showcase their knowledge and skills. For each lesson/topic, students will be provided with a wide variety of resources, including pre-recorded video lessons, interactive learning modules, comprehensive lab packets, thought-provoking reflection questions, and tailored homework assignments. Emphasizing flexibility and personalization, multiple options will be provided for labs and homework, catering to diverse learning preferences and styles.
