What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursHomework
1 hour per week. Learners may need additional time after class to finish cutting and filling their last cookies, before putting them into the oven. Learners are encouraged to help to clean up their baking space after class.Class Experience
Learners will have fun mixing together a simple cookie dough from pre-measured ingredients. After washing our hands, we will start to roll out the dough and cut it into shape. We will then have a great time filling our cookies with tasty candy. We will start class with a couple of minutes of introductions, making sure that everyone knows each other's names. We will then check that we have the correct ingredients and equipment, and have clean hands and a clean work surface. We will go through the stages of making the dough, rolling it out and then using our cookie cutters or template. Finally we will add a candy filling and bake in the oven. You will end up making around 10 - 15 yummy cookies - ideal for sharing with family and friends. The 30 minute class time is sufficient for learners to make the dough and form their cookies. The cookies will need to finish baking in the oven after class. You will find a full list of ingredients and equipment listed in the welcome post in the classroom once you have enrolled. If you cannot see it, then please message me as soon as possible so I can send it out to you.

Parental Guidance
It is recommended that a responsible adult is in the same room as the learner (off camera) and ready to step in to help if necessary. The cookies need baking, an adult will need to put the cookies into the oven and take them out again. An adult will have to crush or powder the candy before class. If you wish to add ribbon, an adult will have to supervise the learner in using a sharp object to make a hole in each cookie before they are baked.
Please ensure you check all your ingredients for possible allergens.
