🧩 How to Connect Online with Others in Minecraft Bedrock Edition (For Parents) If your child is joining an online Minecraft club using Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, here’s a step-by-step guide to help them connect safely with other players. ✅ What You’ll Need: Minecraft Bedrock Edition (for platforms like Windows, Xbox, Switch, iPad, Android, etc.) Microsoft Account: Your child will need a Microsoft account to play online. You can create one at account.microsoft.com/family. This allows you to set up family safety features and manage privacy. An Internet Connection Make sure your child’s device is connected to the internet to access multiplayer features. 🌐 How to Connect with Friends in Minecraft Bedrock Edition: Log In to Minecraft Open the Minecraft app on your child’s device. Have your child sign in with their Microsoft account (this is the same account they use for Xbox Live, if applicable). Add Friends From the main menu, click “Play”. Go to the “Friends” tab. Select “Add Friend” and enter the Gamertag (username) of the friend they want to play with. After they send the friend request, they’ll need to wait for the other player to accept it. Join a Friend's Game Once the friend accepts the request, they’ll show up in your child’s Friends List. To join their game, just click on the friend’s name and select “Join”. Invite Friends to Your Child’s Game If your child wants to invite others to their game, open the world they want to play in, and then click “Invite to Game”. They can invite friends directly from their Friends List. 🛡️ Safety Tips for Parents: Use Family Settings to Manage Online Safety: You can manage your child’s privacy settings in the Microsoft Family Settings app or website. You can control who can add your child as a friend, who can message them, and who can invite them to games. Encourage Playing with Known Friends: Remind your child to only play with friends they know. Encourage them to connect with people from school, sports teams, or other trusted circles. Monitor Gameplay: If your child is under 13, it’s a good idea to check in on their playtime, especially if they’re using voice chat or joining multiplayer games. You can also play with them as a way to supervise. Voice Chat (Optional): Minecraft Bedrock Edition doesn’t have built-in voice chat, but players sometimes use third-party apps (like Discord or Xbox Party Chat). Make sure you’re aware of what they’re using, and that it’s set up in a safe, private manner.

Bachelor's Degree in Music or Theatre or Arts from Colorado State University
With a background in the arts, I’ve explored creativity through many forms — as an artist, dancer, and theater performer. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado State University (CSU), where I deepened my passion for artistic expression and storytelling. In addition to the arts, I enjoy gaming as a fun and interactive way to connect with others and explore new worlds. My experience across visual, performing, and digital arts continues to inspire how I create and collaborate.
