Class Experience
Social Skills - students will learn how to speak to peers, listen and respect when other peers are speaking, and demonstrate patience as they wait for their turn to share. Critical Thinking - students will be able to make informed decisions on which material/ resource is best suited for a particular job or task through trial and error and be able to adapt and make improvements as needed. Working Collaboratively - learners will be able to work with one or more classmates to design, build, or construct new builds through discussion and sharing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Light violence may be seen in Minecraft (using pixelated sticks, swords, etc. to destroy zombies, skeletons, etc.) No blood or gore is involved.
