While playing Minecraft, students will have the opportunity to improve their gaming strategy and work on their multi-tasking, critical thinking, social skills, and problem-solving abilities. All of the settings and game rules will be carefully monitored through my account. Also, all of the language, discussion, and environment throughout the course will be age-appropriate in order to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for players of all Minecraft experience levels. We'll be playing Minecraft Bedrock edition which means students need to use one of the following devices to play: Windows 10 and 11, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch (with a Nintendo Switch Online Membership), Fire OS/TV, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, and Samsung Gear VR. Also, I suggest that students download the latest Minecraft updates on their devices to avoid delays from technical issues. In addition, students need to be signed into their Microsoft accounts on their Minecraft game in order to play online with the rest of the class. Lastly, students will need a device to join the Zoom meetings such as a computer, or smartphone. This ongoing format will allow students to drop in and out at any time. Students do not have to attend previous classes in order to join a later class date. Below is the schedule. SCHEDULE: FRIDAYS AT 9 AM PST If you need a different time slot or do not see an upcoming class that your learner is wanting, please feel free to message me and I will do my best to accommodate. Also, please let me know if you have any questions regarding joining the game. Thank you! Teacher Ari
