I want students to grow in the confidence to take risks and make mistakes as part of the creative process. It is my hope that students increase in creative stamina and learn how to navigate through mental blocks when brainstorming. Similar to real-world collaboration in any creative industry, students have the opportunity to give and receive constructive feedback and grow their social skills.
I have been teaching Minecraft courses since 2017. I'm passionate about helping students connect with others and grow in their creativity and I enjoy facilitating immersive experiences that allow for that.
2 files available upon enrollmentMinecraft Bedrock or Java Edition purchased and updated. (No Xbox, Switch, or PlayStation) A pair of headphones and microphone are also needed for communication with the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I want students to be able to make lasting friends in this club, but communicating personal information during class is not permitted as it is a safety issue.
