Class Experience

Learners will collaborate with other Minecraft gamers to share strategies and experiences from the game.
Learners will share their Minecraft experiences, knowledge, and expertise in a detailed and descriptive way. Showing is better than simply telling.
Device they use for Minecraft. It does not matter if it is Bedrock or Java.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Minecraft can be violent if the settings are not properly set. Parents should be advised of these settings and should become familiar with them. The class will be taught in a way where learners are encouraged to communicate their settings and get approval from parents before entering a game. Parents should also be advised that children are able to communicate with each other in game and that is where digital safety will be emphasized and these settings should also be discussed between parents and children.
