In this creative and interactive class, young Minecraft enthusiasts will unleash their imagination and artistic skills to create amazing Minecraft character selfies. I will guide learners through the process of bringing their own Minecraft character to life on paper. The class aims to encourage self-expression, boost confidence, and foster a love for art while incorporating the captivating world of Minecraft.
Class Outline:
1. Introduction to Minecraft Art:
- Briefly introduce Minecraft and its popular characters.
- Show examples of Minecraft character selfies as inspiration.
2. Basic Drawing Techniques:
- Provide tips on how to start and structure their Minecraft character drawing.
- Guide learners in sketching the basic outline of their character.
- Incorporate math concepts of area and perimeter to help learners with the correct size and proportions for their selfies.
3. Adding Details and Colors:
-Encourage the use of creativity to customize their character selfies.
4. Sharing and Group Activity:
- Provide time for children to showcase their artwork and share their creative process.
