Class Experience
I was a 2nd grade teacher for 3 years and taught all subject areas, including math. My students LOVED Minecraft, so I enjoyed incorporating Minecraft into my classroom when I had the opportunity. I find that students learn best when the topic is of interest to them. I have tutored elementary, middle school, and high school students for over 10 years. In addition, I have taught summer school for the past 3 years and taught English online. I am certified to teach all content areas through 6th grade. I have my Special Education and ESL certifications through 12th grade.
We will use both Kahoot and Zoom during this lesson. Students will need to have a separate device (cell phone, iPad, laptop) that is just for Kahoot. Students may use the free Kahoot app or the free website (Kahoot.it).
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
