Description
Class Experience
This course allows for student-led discussion and interaction with classmates who share an interest in Minecraft. Students will discuss various aspects of the game while work on social skills and interaction.
My family has been playing Minecraft since its release. I look forward to learning more about all the latest updates, creative things learners are doing with their games, and new tips and tricks in this huge game space. I do not claim to be an expert -- that's what a wiki is for -- but merely want to provide a space where gamers can come discuss the games they love.
There is no specific homework, although students may not object to a few hours of playing time between classes... for research purposes, of course.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The ESRB rating for this game is everybody 10+
Students will want to be current players or enthusiasts of Minecraft.
