This Minecraft Dungeon's course will be filled with group play with a focus on teamwork. It is a brand new game, so everyone will be beginners. We will focus on being a part of a team: working together and supporting each other. NOTE: This class is only for PC users since there is no cross-platform cooperative play yet. Students will learn how to download, install, and set up Minecraft Dungeons. Students will learn to troubleshoot any difficulties and change their settings to make it work for their device. Students will learn and apply good teamwork in a group setting. Students will problem solve and communicate issues in a group setting. Students will learn by doing as they explore a new game with others. Students will apply their knowledge by making a character sheet with details, stats, and items from the game.
Students will create character sheets that they can work on as homework if they don't finish during class. The main focus will be to experience the game together, so the game shouldn't be played outside of class during these four days.

There will be a focus on good teamwork and problem solving. If families want, an informal assessment can be given to them.
