In this one-time class, students will practice reading and spelling Minecraft-related CVC words while playing a fun BINGO game.

Each student will receive two printable BINGO cards to be printed prior to class. The Minecraft-related CVC words will be presented one at a time using fun images and graphics for visual reinforcement. The students will take turns spelling the CVC words and also reading short sentences with gentle encouragement from the teacher, if they choose. We will play two rounds and until everyone wins! This is also the perfect complimentary class to my “Reading CVC Words With Minecraft Animals” class (although it is not a prerequisite).
Learning Goals
Students can bring a Minecraft-related toy to share at the beginning of class. They will practice letter sounds, phonics, and beginner reading skills while playing a fun Minecraft-themed BINGO game!

Parental Guidance
Students will not play Minecraft during class.
Supply List
You will receive two printable Bingo cards from the teacher to be printed prior to class. Please make sure to bring these to class. Coins work really well as Bingo chips!
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
