Class Experience
In this 90 minute class, students will be taught to code using Minecraft, in Ancient Egypt! They will take a journey with us down the Nile, explore the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, and take a journey down the Valley of Kings and perhaps even dig up some mummies! We will even make a game of husks vs. skeletons and see who wins! Learn block-based Microsoft MakeCode coding similar to Scratch Use loops and conditionals (IF/THEN/ELSE) Understand variables (number, Boolean, string) Create and use functions Use all of the above to make games and build structures
