Class Experience
This is an ongoing Minecraft gaming class where learners will choose our game mode; Learn the game of Minecraft, teamwork , and socialization skills with other neurodivergent thinkers as well as a neurodivergent teacher. Minecraft helps neurodivergent learners gain critical thinking skills, and promotes imagination. Teachers will create a safe social space for all learners. Not only do I teach core subjects, but I am a gamer with personal life experience, as well as education in computer science and website design. Additionally, I am Neurodivergent and have experience with children and other adults who are also on the spectrum, or have special needs.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Gamer tags are required for gaming. For safety and privacy, please message the teacher privately and give your gamer user name prior to the class, and do not share your gamer tag with the other students.
