In this ongoing class, teens will explore building confidence, developing a positive mindset, and strengthening their self-esteem. Each session is packed with fresh tools and strategies to help them feel empowered in their daily lives. Whether they drop in for one class or keep coming back each week, teens will pick up real-life skills to tackle challenges, recognize their unique strengths, and keep growing into the best version of themselves. Class Experience: Every session of The Self-Esteem Lab mixes fun, interaction, and learning. Here’s what to expect: Teens will learn the foundations of self-esteem and mindset development, including reframing negative thoughts, setting achievable goals, and practicing self-compassion. Topics rotate weekly, including building confidence, overcoming self-doubt, dealing with comparison, handling peer pressure, celebrating individuality, and creating a positive self-image. Each class begins with a short introduction and warm-up activity to set the tone. This is followed by an engaging lesson, interactive exercises (like discussions, group games, or journaling prompts), and a takeaway action step to apply what they’ve learned. I’ll use a combination of storytelling, interactive slides, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Teens will connect with relatable examples and have the opportunity to practice new skills in a safe and encouraging environment. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and student-centered. I create a judgment-free space where teens feel comfortable sharing and exploring new ideas. Interaction is a key part of this class. Teens will be encouraged to join discussions, ask questions, and participate in group activities but will be given the space to do so at their own comfort level. I will be there every step of the way to guide and support them, making sure everyone feels welcome and included. Whether your teen is looking for a one-time confidence boost or wants to grow week by week, The Self-Esteem Lab is the perfect place to spark positive change.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a BA in Psychology and certifications as a teaching assistant and art therapy practitioner, which have given me a strong understanding of how to support young people’s mental and emotional growth. I’ve taught a variety of mindset-focused classes, from public speaking to personal development workshops, for kids and teens. These experiences have helped me make complex ideas easy to understand while assisting students to build confidence and resilience.
Over the years, I’ve worked with children and teens in both in-person classes and workshops as well as virtual class settings. In each, I focus on fostering emotional growth, self-expression, and positive thinking.
My goal is to make sure every student feels supported and confident, helping them build their self-esteem and mindset along the way.
