Description
Class Experience
Students will learn that meditation and guided visualization can be easy. All they need is a quiet, uninterrupted place for a little while and they can guide their inner self to a calmer day! Students will learn tools they can use in their personal lives to help relieve the heaviness hard things can leave them feeling. They will feel empowered and be able to do their own meditations, saying affirmations to carry through their day that fit them personally!
I am a master NLP Practitioner and EFT Practitioner with my own private practice and have worked in private, public and special needs schools as an aid and teacher also owning my own preschool for 20+ years. It has been my privilege over the last two decades to work with students from ages birth-18 years in all walks and conditions of life, guiding them through hard feelings that don't serve them or allow them to feel joy and peace! I love the work I do! Helping those I work with see they have all the tools to be in control of their own lives is to me the ultimate joy!
5-15 minutes of quietness each day to practice guided meditation and read your affirmations daily.
A quiet uninterrupted space to meditate and headphones for privacy if possible, a notebook to write in, and a writing tool. (Pen, pencil, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Please help your child find a quiet, uninterrupted place for class each week, and a simple notebook and writing tool (what ever they enjoy writing with). Some students do better with head phones to help block background noise out and help them focus. It's a good idea to take a bathroom break before class and make sure you're not either too hungry or too full as both can be a distraction to some.
