Mindfulness Summer Camp for Kids, Age 7-11
Class experience
Students learn different types of Mindfulness practices and different Mindful Games. I use Mindful Games Activity Cards and Guided Mindfulness lessons to help them understand the concept of mindfulness better, being mindful of their emotions, and respond vs react. They learn to calm themselves when they encounter any strong emotions. They will learn how to be kind and caring for themselves and each other. Students will learn to increase their focus and concentration. They will learn to be kinder to themselves and to each other. They will learn to take a pause and calm themselves down when they are sad, angry, disappointed or having any strong emotions
Why me: I am a long time mindfulness practitioner. I practice mindfulness meditation for over 25 years now and as I see how this practice changed my life and the life of my students for better, I have committed myself to pass it on to everyone, especially our kids and teens. I have been teaching Mindfulness to kids, teens, and adults for over 6 years now and happy to help them understand themselves and their emotions better and live in the present moment, become more focused and centered, and live at peace. I enjoy sharing my passion through teaching mindfulness techniques to my students; helping them to learn this profound mind training practices, which brings clarity and awareness to their minds. I truly believe that Mindfulness practices allow for greater concentration, productivity, resiliency, self-management, and a sense of happiness.
