In this quarterly small group course, students will engage in discussions, self-reflection, and learn ways to adopt a positive mindset, set goals for themselves, and interact with their peers while learning more about mindfulness.

In this class, students will practice mindfulness and social skills. We will meet once per week to discuss topics, share ideas, build friendships, and embrace a sense of self-reflection, awareness, positive mindset and build relationships and understand not only of others but also with themselves. I am a certified teacher in many subject areas including ELA, science, elementary education, ESOL, physical education (to include health education) and I have taught social skills and life skills elective classes as well as anger management courses. I also have a degree in psychology with an emphasis in life coaching. I provide life coaching to adolescents and adults to help them adopt a healthy and happy mindset, gain self-confidence, become more aware of their daily habits and practices, and make positive choices for the lives and towards their goals.
Guardians will receive a summary after each class.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
