Students will learn a variety of guided meditation practices designed to increase attention, self-regulation, empathy, and the ability to respond skillfully to challenging situations instead of reacting impulsively. Students are encouraged to practice meditation regularly. Ongoing instruction and reflection opportunities create a strong foundation for a lifelong practice. Students will encourage to practice mindfulness meditation for a few minutes every day during the week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
