In this class, we will practice different mindful movement and breathing techniques to become more focused and confident learners. This class is perfect for students who need help with stress management or emotional regulation. Each class will focus on a mindful movement and a breathing technique. Students will be able to learn self-regulation techniques so they can be more focused and confident learners.
Students will sometimes be asked to practices specific movements or breathing techniques with family members outside of class.
There will be optional materials that students can create at home. A list of these materials will be provided after we have learned how to use them in class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
