Class Experience
What will be taught? kid-friendly breathing technics such as "bee breathing", "belly breathing", and "blowing candles"; Yoga poses for children such as "tree" and "turtle". What topics are covered? mindfulness and yoga for children, drama activities. How is the class structured? we will start with a welcoming game, then we will practice breathing technics and yoga poses, as we are pretending to tour the jungle and looking for a turtle's birthday party. We will end a calming slow movement...
I am a registered Drama Therapist (RDT) with the North America Drama Therapy Association, holding a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development (Magna Cum Laude). I am also a yoga teacher and a mindfulness instructor for children. I have been working with children for over 15 years.
