At the end of the class, each student will receive a personalized certificate of completion. This certificate recognizes their participation and successful application of the SMART goals framework and mindfulness techniques taught during the session. The certificate will be emailed to the parent or guardian after the class is completed, serving as a formal acknowledgment of the student's hard work and commitment to improving their time management and goal-setting skills. While there are no formal grades assigned, this certificate provides a tangible reward for their efforts and can be a motivating factor for continuing to practice the strategies learned in class.Class Experience

Beginner Level
In this engaging and interactive class, students will learn how to set SMART goals and manage their time effectively while incorporating mindfulness practices to reduce stress and stay focused. The class covers the SMART goal framework, mindfulness techniques, and practical time management strategies. The class structure includes a mix of visual aids, guided discussions, and hands-on activities, ensuring that students fully understand and can apply the concepts. My teaching style is supportive and interactive, encouraging participation through role-playing scenarios, and open discussions. Students will have ample opportunities to ask questions, share their goals, and receive personalized feedback to help them succeed. Special Note: Classes will not be cancelled due to enrollment, even if only one learner is registered. However, please be aware that the class may end earlier than the scheduled time if there is a single participant or if students have fewer questions. Time is generally allotted for multiple-learner interaction, and this can affect the overall length of the session when fewer learners attend. Thank you for understanding!
Learning Goals
Set SMART Goals: Students will learn how to create Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound goals, applying this framework to both personal and academic tasks.
Practice Mindfulness: Students will practice mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing and visualization, to help manage stress and stay focused on their goals.

Learning Needs
This class supports unique learning needs, including ADHD, Dyslexia, and ASD. I use visual aids, multi-sensory activities, clear instructions, positive reinforcement, and tailored mindfulness techniques to help all learners succeed.
Pre-Requisites
There are no prerequisites for this class. All students are welcome, whether they're new to goal-setting or looking to improve their time management skills.
Supply List
Learners will need the following materials for the class: Printable SMART goals worksheet (provided before class) Pen or pencil A quiet space for mindfulness activities All materials will be supplied digitally, and no additional purchases are required. The printable worksheet will be made available in the classroom announcement section.

I have over 20 years of experience in education, supporting district leadership and teaching students from Pre-K through 8th grade. I hold a New Jersey Substitute Teaching Certification and have completed professional courses in Digital Marketing, Time Management, and Mindfulness. Additionally, I have firsthand experience applying these principles in real-world settings, including managing my own virtual assistant business and supporting my children’s diverse learning needs, including one with autism and another with ADHD. My experience in both educational and administrative roles has equipped me with the skills to effectively teach SMART goals, time management, and mindfulness in a way that is accessible and engaging for all learners.
