In this reoccurring 1:1 course, students will work on social skills, emotional skills and mindfulness. All levels and stages of emotional development will be accommodated and all lessons created per kid!

I have been a preschool and kindergarten teacher in my career. I have also been a special educator and am an aspiring yoga teacher. I am currently studying for my RYT 200. I am a certified Mindfulness Preschool Teacher. Have worked with many emotionally sensitive propulsions as well as nuerodivergent learners over the years. I have created behavior plans and social emotional curriculum to accommodate many different needs. Emotions, imagination, and social skills are my favorite class topics. I am very familiar with children and how to speak their language in a fun way. I love to sing and dance and play with young kids to help them grow into their best selves. **THIS CLASS IS SPECIAL EDUCATION FRIENDLY! I provide whatever visuals necessary! A quiet space, some paper and a writing utensil should be handy. Supplies vary per student.
Parental guidance is on an individual level. If students are working own behavior or emotional regulation, parent involvement and communication with teacher may be necessary. Emotions may be a triggering topic so parent support is advised. Also some classes involve movement, make sure there is adequate space, footwear and you know your child's motor level.
