Combining music with art can be a great way for learners to unwind and express themselves. In this class, students will listen to a piece of instrumental music while free-drawing or coloring. Music can inspire so many emotions and ideas. Students will have the opportunity to express how the music feels through their own art. I love to let students use their imaginations as they listen, but will also tell individual students the title of the song, or a hint, if they prefer. At the end of the session, students will have the opportunity to share what they have created, and how the music inspired their choices. As time allows, will also learn a bit of background about the music we listened to. This class provides a safe space for all learners to express themselves and be creative.

Parental Guidance
In this class, learners will listen to an excerpt from a classical style piece of music. Composer examples include, but are not limited to, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart, and Schumann. Each week will feature a new piece.
Supply List
Learners will need: Paper or coloring page Pencils, crayons, markers, etc. for drawing Note: Although the title specifies drawing, learners can use any art medium of their choice! Love to paint? Go for it!
