Each week students will participate in a teacher-led guided meditation. Afterward, there will be time to ask questions about the practice or share experiences if students choose to. Practices will include breath awareness, body scan, gratitude, and loving-kindness among others and will be different each week. This class is suitable for everyone. No experience is required. Students will learn invaluable skills to improve focus and concentration, improve sleep habits, regulate emotions and reduce stress and anxiety.
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and meditation teacher with training for teens from Mindful Schools. I teach meditation classes to users of Wellnesscoach.LIVE from all over the world. I am also a certified Biology teacher and have taught in a classroom and virtually for 15 years, along with homeschooling my own children.
A quiet place where you can sit and be comfortable for the practice is all that you need. You may want to use a yoga mat, cushion, chair or bed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
