Welcome to my yoga studio! This yoga class is designed for students that want to 'try' yoga for the first time OR may prefer a shorter formatted class. In this one time condensed (30 minutes) yoga class, students will be taught basic breathing techniques and yoga poses followed by an interactive silly song. Students will learning breathing techniques and yoga poses that they can share with their friends and family.
I am a certified yoga instructor with over 1500 classes taught to children across the United States. I specialize in yoga and mindfulness for families.
No formal homework is assigned in this class, however, I encourage students to continue practicing their new yoga poses.
Students are not required to have any supplies for this class, however, they can bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel to sit and stretch on during class. They will be asked to take off their shoes and socks to ensure safety and reduce slipping. Please have your child wear comfortable clothing appropriate for exercise and stretching.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There will not be an assessment in this class. This is a participation class filled with encouragement for each student.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please ensure that your child has proper supervision and an adequately open workout space free of any hazards. They are encouraged to wear slip proof socks or come in bare feet to reduce slipping. Students are advised to bring a water bottle and wear proper clothing for exercise and stretching.
