In this STEAM inclusive class, kids will make their own scale model of the Solar System. We will use mindfulness techniques to create this model and later we will travel together on our model through the Solar System, visiting every planet.

Class experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Ph. D. in Astrophysics - Astrophysics/Astronomy Communicator/Educator/Adjunct at the San Diego University volunteering on a number of community projects that promote a mindful STEAM curriculum. I also homeschool my three children, and I am personally active internationally offering workshops to both children, adults and teachers.
Learners do need to bring with them a rope that is not stretchable and at least 10 feet long (3 meters long). Beads and other decoration to put in the place of the planet and the Sun are optional and not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
For the younger students, they might need support with tying the knots.
