Mindful Art Journaling with Ms. Baker
In this ongoing class, artists will participate in a mindfulness activity and an art journaling project inspired by the activity.
Each week in this ongoing class, we will complete a mindfulness lesson and an art journaling project inspired by the lesson. Just few minutes a day of mindful art journaling can improve your mood and give a feeling of accomplishment. All creativity is good, but adding a thoughtful component makes it even better. By the end of each class, artists will: -learn a mindfulness practice and how to incorporate it into everyday life. -have an art journal entry that reflects unique creative...
Learners will improve their understanding of mindfulness and will use journaling as a way to reinforce that learning.
0As long as you have the following items, you can get started with Mindful Art Journaling! -Sketchbook/Journal with thick bleed resistant paper (You can also use cardstock paper) -Pencil with Eraser -Black Sharpie (regular tip & fine tip) - Markers These additional materials will enhance the Mindful Journaling experience but are not required for the class. -Black Extra Fine Tip Sharpie -Gel Pens -Colored Pencils -Ruler -Scissors -Construction Paper -Any stickers of your choice As a bonus, we will use some of the following materials in some of the classes. You will be notified well ahead of time with what is needed for each class so that you can prepare. -Cotton balls and Q-tips -Newspaper or magazine clippings -Leaves and acorns -Aluminum Foil
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
