Class Experience

This is an overview course for young people that covers basic manners that are applicable on a daily basis. More and more I hear that certain basic manners are lacking in middle and high school, but it's hard to get upset with the kids, as they don't know what they don't know!

Some of what we cover:

-How to carry yourself in a group setting
-When to say "please" and "thank you"
-Eating etiquette
-Conducting yourself in public
-Conducting yourself in school/the workplace
-Being on time
-Knowing when to talk and when to listen
-Knowing how to respectfully disagree
-Meeting new people
-Interacting with your elders
-Interviewing etiquette
-Proper attire for different occasions

Some of the material will (hopefully) be review for students and some may be new or unique to a situation they have yet to experience (such as a job interview). This is meant as a general overview, but students are encouraged to come prepared with specific questions!
