Hello, I am Juanita Foster. I am a mother, mom-mom, and best Auntie in the world. Over the past 30 years, I have been a mentor, tutor, trainer, and coach. My teaching career started when I was in high school, as a childcare worker. There is where I found my love for not just teacher, but learning as well. Over the years, I have taught students aged from birth to adult. My education includes a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, Masters in Organizational Leadership, Bachelors' in Business Management, certifications in Nursing, and Human Resources. What brings me the most joy is encouraging, empowering and elevating the learners’ knowledge. This will enable them to reach their full potential. For my students, I teach the way they learn! My teaching style uses the different ways students learn, along with humor, that meets the student's educational needs as well as their social and emotional needs as well. In order to be the best teacher for your student, I know that I must be a life learner as well. I currently attend college studying Early Childhood Education. Why Me? As a project and process management with over ten years of experience, I see the need to equip students with tools like this to help them excel in school, and eventually in the working world.
I will offer the ability to download my PowerPoint presentation, and will also have a handout for students to keep in PDF form that will include links and other resources on this topic outside of the class learning opportunities.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Education reaches far beyond standardized testing and classroom curriculum. I believe teaching is a mission that gives one the privilege to change the world - one student at a time regardless of the learning environment. I am Juanita Foster. I'm...
