Students will improve their focus and have the opportunity to slow down a bit and be more mindful of details as well as use their sense of taste as a mindfulness tool. This will help students to focus more inward and experience things more presently.
Teacher Heather is a certified Families and Pre/Postnatal Health Yoga Teacher/Coach as well as a Certified and Trained Children's Yoga Instructor.
Student will need paper and drawing supplies. They will also need a quiet space to experience the full mindfulness activities. No mat or much space required. Student are also asked to bring a small bite of something to taste (I.e. one cracker, a bite of fruit) no need for anything large like a sandwich or a bag of chips.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
