Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
In this On-Going class students will be presented with a battle map of decisive battles in Military History. Students will take turns using their critical thinking skills and keen insight based upon the Principles of War to participate in a discussion about how the weapons, tactics, strategy and genius of the commander contributed to victory. This is a fully participatory class whereby students will take turns sharing their views (based upon sound military concepts) on the disposition, opening moves, main efforts, and decisions of the world's greatest commanders. We will use reliable battle maps and analyze the battles in three stages.

As the instructor, I will provide some necessary background to the historical context, the strategic situation, and the commanders. The students will be doing a great deal of analysis during the class using the Principles of War.
