In this multi-day class, students will learn more strategies to help them master their multiplication facts! I like to use engaging and hands-on multiplication strategies to help my learners. Students will create, build, and explore during class. By using this method, students understand the products instead of just memorizing the answers. The strategies we use will help students memorize multiplication facts. Week 1: Array strategies Week 2: Multiplication groups Week 3: Number line strategies Learners will interact with me and other students while completing this class. At the beginning of each class I will give a warmup to generate conversations that enforce different multiplication skills.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their multiplication understanding by learning different strategies to help them learn their facts.

Hi there! My name is Beckie and I live in Georgia. I have been teaching in a public school setting for 8 years. I've taught 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th grade. I love providing my students with hands-on and engaging activities. I believe in implementing STEM, critical thinking, and higher levels of learning in the classroom setting.
