US Grade 3 - 6
In this ongoing class, we will take a look into predators of the mini word, praying mantis, assassin beetles, pepsis wasps and even more. Your learners will learn in depth information about a new insect or group of arthropods each week. We will look at what they eat, how they eat it, where they live and how their special adaptations they have to survive. I use both picture and video to support my instruction, all while encouraging learners to ask questions, which I challenge with additional questions of my own. I am an engaging and enthusiastic teacher, which comes out in my delivery. No prior knowledge is required, come ready to learn and to have fun.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love to teach about all creatures great and small, especially if they are covered in scales, lick their own eyes, breath underwater or even fly!
I have had over 10 years of experience with animal rehabilitation facilities, zoological parks and nature museums.
I love getting people excited or even freaked out about this huge animal kingdom and the amazing things that they can do.
I was raised on Wild America, Steve Irwin, The Kratt Brothers and any animal show I could find, I have had all sorts of creepy crawly pets and find that the most scary might just be misunderstood.
