Welcome to "Old School Grammar Level One," an exploration into the world of sentence diagramming. In this course, we equip students with the essential tools to unravel sentence structures with confidence to greatly improve grammar skills. Students will learn the basics of diagramming sentences to deepen their understanding of English grammar.
I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English, and I taught high school English for seven years. I have a current English teaching license for grades K-12.
Each class will have one page of homework enabling students to practice the skills learned during class independently at home. We will discuss homework answers at the beginning of each lesson.
1 file available upon enrollmentStudents should come to class prepared with a pencil and blank paper. Students can take notes during class, and they can also practice diagramming during class. Students should print out the homework to complete it for lessons 2-6.
