Description

Class Experience

This class is designed for students who work best in a one-on-one learning environment. Topics covered will include English Language Arts concepts customized to your learner's needs. Whether your student needs a one-on-one tutoring experience in which the instructor assists your student with their coursework, or your student needs a one-on-one middle school English curriculum designed for them, this class is helpful for students who thrive in a personalized, quiet environment. In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses NoRedInk, CommonLit, Grammarly, Vocabulary.com , and Flipgrid.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

The instructor will provide both written and verbal feedback, as well as a letter grade at the end of the course. If student is enrolled in tutoring only, I will assess progress with a weekly written report to the parents or guardians.

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
