In this 3-session course, learners will clear the clutter and get organized for better success in school. Planning systems, prioritization skills, and routines are put in place to increase efficiency and decrease stress.
Class experience
As a student, being organized helps us find what we need, feel less stressed, keep track of our assignments, and gain more free time. Learning to plan and prioritize helps us meet goals and deadlines, and is an important part of being organized. In this 3-session course, we will clear the clutter in our rooms, organize our backpacks, and set up a study area. Then, we will identify daily routines and use planning templates to fit our personalities. Finally, we will set up a binder system...

Students will learn and implement organization strategies and planning routines to make their lives as students simpler.
Pencil Notes/Printouts posted for each lesson (posted on the class page before each scheduled class) Lined paper or notebook Binder materials: Binder (this can be the one they already use for school - we will organize it together; 2-3" recommended) Dividers to go in binder (plastic binder pouches with a pocket are recommended) Sharpie for labeling (or labels and pen/marker) Pencil pouch with 3-hole rings (2-hole or 4-hole in some countries) to go in binder Folders (regular file folders or pocket folders work well) Any spiral notebooks used for school or other materials that need to be organized into the binder
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
