Teacher will go around to students and give on on one help. Homework: Complete revising essay Week Six: Lesson 12: Lesson: Students get with partners or alone and help each other edit essays. Teacher will go to each group and offer help and advice. Homework: Complete essay and turn in for publishing Lesson 13: Lesson: Students will read their essays aloud for class critique. 3 positives and one constructive critique Closure: Review course material
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to write a paragraph using the "Yummy Paragraph" format. Once mastered students will move on to learning the writing process and practice and master writing full one-page essays.
